About Phoenix Healing Center
The Phoenix Center’s healing therapies are based in
traditional and alternative health care modalities that are
continually researched and updated. Dr. Sid Wolf
and Dr. Amber Wolf combine over 35 years of experience in
giving their patients dynamic healing results.

Dr. Sid Wolf
Dr. Sid Wolf is nationally known as an author, researcher,
psychotherapist, educator, bodyworker, and healer. Renowned
for his extensive research into the effects of psychotherapy,
he has been invited to keynote, teach and train throughout
the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Dr. Wolf began his career as a
cutting edge researcher investigating methods for treating
hospitalized alcoholics. He took part
in the exciting and landmark studies of the therapeutic benefits
of LSD used in conjunction with psychotherapy; treating alcoholics,
psychiatric patients and the terminally ill, funded by the
National Institute of Mental Health. His work has been featured
in a PBS special entitled, “I Don’t Know Why”,
an in-depth look at the dynamics of an alcoholic, and “A
View From The Inside”, a film documenting his treatment
of a victim of child abuse.
In private practice since 1970,
and in addition to his valuable background in medical research,
Dr. Wolf served his community
as the director of the Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse for
the Baltimore County Dept. of Health, and directed the Psychotherapy
Institute of San Diego. For the past 15 years, his practice
has taken him into “hands on healing” techniques,
where he developed safe and rapid methods for revitalizing
the body and maintaining vibrant, youthful health and well
being. Dr. Wolf is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage
and Bodywork, a licensed Holistic Health Practitioner, and a Certified Body Talk Practitioner.
